The aircrew lowered a radio down to establish communications with the operator of the vessel his radio became inoperable after he reportedly fell in the evening of Apr 13 and injured his leg and hip. At 9:54 a.m., the rescue aircrew located the sailboat with a 13-year-old boy and 48-year-old man aboard. The USCG Sector Humboldt Bay dispatched a boatcrew from Coast Guard Station Noyo River and an aircrew from Coast Guard Air Station Humboldt Bay. Once on scene, the "Horizon Enterprise" crew discovered a man aboard a 30-foot yellow-and-white sailing vessel waving his arms and yelling for help approximately 24 miles north west of Fort Bragg Tuesday morning. Crowley Maritime Corp.’s global ship management group has been awarded a new contract with Sunrise Operations LLC, a subsidiary of The Pasha Group, of San Rafael, Calif., for the operation, crewing and maintenance of four Jones Act ships operating between the U.S.
